The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed that the draw for the 7th edition of the FUFA Women’s Cup will be conducted on Monday, 13th April 2026.
The draw will take place on FUFA Tv starting at 10:00AM.

A total of 40 clubs will participate in this year’s edition, drawn from the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League, FUFA Women Elite League, Regional Leagues and one non-league side from across the country.
Past winners of the FUFA Women’s Cup are Olila High School WFC (2017), UCU Lady Cardinals (2018), Makerere University (She MAK) (2019), Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC (2023) and She Corporate FC (2024).
In 2025, Amus College WFC made history by claiming their first-ever FUFA Women’s Cup title.

Format and draw procedure
The 7th edition will follow a progressive knockout format. The eight quarter-finalists from the previous edition will receive automatic qualification to the Round of 16.
The teams that have earned a bye to the Round of 16 are Amus College WFC (Cup Winners), Kampala Queens FC, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga FC, She Corporate FC, St. Noa Girls FC, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, Lady Doves FC and She Maroons FC.
Round one – preliminary phase (32 teams)
The opening round will feature 32 teams.
Pot A will consist of regional sides and selected FUFA Women Elite League teams while Pot B will comprise FUFA Women Super League and top Elite League sides.
Each fixture will have a team from Pot A drawn against a team from Pot B, with Pot A teams hosting the matches.
Round two – The Path to the Pro’s (16 Winners)
The 16 winners from the preliminary phase will progress to round two.
The draw will be conducted as an open draw, with the first team drawn hosting the second team drawn.
Round three – round of 16
The eight round two winners will join the eight teams that received a bye to this stage.
The draw will be fully open with no seedings and fixtures will be determined without restrictions.
Quarter-finals
The eight remaining teams will be placed in a single pot for an open draw to determine the four semi-final pairings.
Semi-finals
The four qualified teams will compete in an open draw, with the first two teams drawn serving as the home teams to host the first legs.
Final
The two semi-final winners will meet in the final to be played at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, where the 7th FUFA Women’s Cup winners will be crowned.
