The Uganda Cranes will take part in two international friendly matches during the June 2026 FIFA international window in Marrakech, Morocco.
According to Ahmed Hussein, FUFA Corporate Affairs Director, Uganda will play Tanzania on 5th June 2026 before taking on Madagascar on 8th June 2026 as preparations continue for upcoming international assignments that will lead to the AFCON 2027 to be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The matches will provide the technical team with an opportunity to further assess the squad and build competitiveness ahead of AFCON 2027 Qualifiers and future CAF and FIFA competitions.
Both fixtures will be played in Marrakech, Morocco, with further details regarding kick-off times and venues to be communicated in due course.
The international friendlies are organised under the FIFA international window, allowing national teams to assemble players for official preparation matches.
