The 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League season reaches its climax this Sunday with the league title set to be decided on the final day in what promises to be a tense and dramatic grand finale.
After months of consistency, resilience and outstanding performances, both She Corporate FC and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC remain firmly in contention heading into Matchday 22, with only one point separating the two title challengers.
League leaders She Corporate FC sit top of the standings with 50 points, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC closely trail on 49 points, setting up a thrilling conclusion to one of the most competitive campaigns in recent seasons.
At the centre of the title showdown will be She Corporate FC’s home encounter against She Maroons FC at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC host Olila High School WFC at Kawempe Muslim SS Ground.

For She Corporate FC, the equation is simple. Victory guarantees them the league crown regardless of results elsewhere. A draw could also prove enough, but only if Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC fail to defeat Olila High School WFC.
Head coach Belyse Ininahazwe believes her side is ready for the challenge ahead after an impressive campaign.
‘We have worked hard throughout the season to reach this moment. The players understand what is at stake and we are focused on finishing the job,’ said Ininahazwe.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, meanwhile, must secure maximum points and hope She Corporate FC drop points in Njeru. A draw for the Valley Warriors could still hand them the title, but only if She Maroons FC defeat the current leaders.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC head coach Ayub Khalifa remains confident his side can push the title race to the very end.
‘We know the situation clearly. We must win our game and keep believing until the final whistle. The team is ready for the challenge and we shall fight until the end,’ noted Khalifa.
The final day arrives after both sides endured setbacks on the penultimate matchday, adding even more suspense to the title race. She Corporate FC suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Uganda Martyrs High School WFC, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Kampala Queens FC.

Despite those results, both teams have enjoyed remarkable campaigns characterised by consistency, strong defensive displays and decisive performances in crucial moments.
Their first-round meetings against this weekend’s opponents also offer interesting context heading into the finale. She Corporate FC and She Maroons FC played out a goalless draw at Luzira Prisons Ground earlier in the season, highlighting the competitive nature of the fixture.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, on the other hand, claimed a 3-1 victory over Olila High School WFC in Soroti during the reverse fixture and will hope to replicate a similar performance with the title at stake.
Away from the title race, several other battles across the table are also expected to provide excitement on the final day as teams fight to finish the season strongly and secure respectable league positions.
Makerere University WFC will host Kampala Queens FC at Makerere Nsibirwa Ground, while Lady Doves FC face St. Noa Girls FC at Katusabe Ground.
Elsewhere, Asubo Ladies FC take on Rines SS WFC at Kampala Quality Ground, while Amus College WFC host Uganda Martyrs High School WFC at Amus Stadium.
Although already relegated, both Asubo Ladies FC and Olila High School WFC will be aiming to conclude their top-flight campaigns on a positive note before returning to the FUFA Women Elite League next season.
Another major subplot on the final day will be the race for the Golden Boot award.
She Corporate FC forward Jesca Namanda currently leads the scoring charts with 15 goals, but Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC striker Latifah Nakasi remains firmly in contention with 14 goals after an impressive season of her own.
With both players expected to lead the line for their respective teams in decisive fixtures, the battle for the league’s top scorer accolade is also set to go down to the wire.
As the curtain falls on the 2025/26 season, all eyes will turn to Njeru and Kawempe for what promises to be a memorable conclusion to the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League campaign.
