Head Coach of the Uganda U-17 Women’s National Team, Sheryl Ulanda Botes, has named a 31-player provisional squad for the upcoming 2026 CECAFA U-17 Women’s Championship, scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from 13th to 23rd June 2026.
The tournament draw placed Uganda in Group B alongside South Sudan, Zanzibar, and Djibouti.
Matches will be played at the Azam Complex Stadium in Chamazi and KMC Stadium.
The squad is composed of players from the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League, FUFA Women Elite League, and secondary school football system. The team will commence residential training today, 1st June 2026, at FUFA Hotel, Kisaasi.
