FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee Bans Five People for Match Fixing

The FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has found four players and a club administrator guilty of having been involved in match manipulation in violation of art. 43 and art. 44 of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Code.

The sanctioned persons were found to have been involved in the manipulation of the Uganda Premier League match played between Lugazi FC and Buhimba United Saints, played on November 8, 2025, that ended 5-2 in favour of Lugazi FC.

Players of Buhimba United Saints FC, Nkata Fred, and Ayebale Moses have been banned for 5 years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports, or any other), while Dudu Ramadhan, also of Buhimba United FC, has been banned for 2 years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports, or any other). Mr. Kalumba James, a Technical Director at Buhimba United Saints FC, has also been banned for 5 years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports, or any other).

Feni Ali, a former player, was found to have coordinated match-fixing in several matches, including Lugazi United FC Vs Buhimba United FC on November 8, 2025, by acting as an intermediary between players and match-fixers. Feni Ali contacted and linked players to match-fixers for the purpose of manipulating matches. He has been banned from taking part in any kind of football-related activity (administrative, sports, or any other) for life.

The findings of the relevant decisions were notified to each of the concerned individuals, and their relevant bans came into force immediately after receiving the notifications of the decisions.
