Kampala Queens made their intentions of winning this season’s FUFA Women Super League title clear following a convincing win over Asubo Gafford Ladies on Sunday.

In their opening game of the season, the Queens of Soccer won 5-0 against the new comers at IUIU Ground, Kabojja.

The other goals came from Shamirah Nalugya, Resty Nanziri, Lillian Mutuuzo and Margaret Kunihira.

Kampala Queens took early lead of the log ahead of their next game against defending Champions She Corporate this weekend.

She Corporate who played a day before were held to a one all draw by Makerere University.

In the other games played on matchday one, Olila High School edged Lady Doves courtesy of an own goal while Uganda Martyrs were 2-0 winners over Rines SS thanks to goals from Kevin Nakacwa and Brenda Munyana.

Action continues over the weekend with four fixfures, the biggest game involving She Corporate and Kampala Queens.

Rines SS will host UCU Lady Cardinals, Makerere University will travel to Masindi to face Lady Doves while Asubo Gafford Ladies host Uganda Martyrs High School.
