The Round of 32 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup continued on Thursday with decisive results as NEC FC, Maroons FC and Bunyaruguru United FC secured victories to advance to the Round of 16.
NEC FC delivered a composed performance to defeat UPDF FC 2–0. Dhata proved the difference on the day, finding the breakthrough in the 28th minute before doubling the advantage on the stroke of half-time in the 45th minute. His brace ensured NEC FC maintained control of the contest and safely progressed.
In Luzira, Maroons FC registered a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Kumi United FC. The decisive moment arrived in the 56th minute when Norman Odipio struck to separate the sides. Maroons FC remained resolute thereafter to see out the result and confirm their place in the next round.

Earlier, Bunyaruguru United FC progressed with a 1–0 win against Amus College FC, completing a day characterised by tightly contested fixtures.
