Total Africa Cup of Nations 2017 finals: Uganda Cranes begins residential training

Uganda Cranes startedvresidential training on Monday ahead of the Total Africa Cup 2017 Finals in Gabon.

27 players were part of the Aerobic session held at the Paradise Fitness Gym and later through ball work at Kabira Country Club in Bukoto.

Players attended the gym and ball work drills under the close supervision of head coach, Milutin Sredejovic, his two assistants Moses Basena and Fred Kajoba (Goalkeeping coach), the team medical gurus Ronald Kisolo and Ivan Ssewanyana with the team manager, Chrispus Muyinda and the National Team’s Officer Patrick Ntege.

After the ball work session at Bukoto, they entered the camp at Serene Suites in Mutundwe-the same Hotel used when played Comoros on 4th September.

On Monday evening, they will resume training at Islamic University In Uganda in Kabojja.

Head coach, Milutin Sredejovic expressed delight about the start of the sessions.

It gives joy to see us start the residential training and happy with the response of the players towards training 

There will be double sessions for the team before the Christmas  break.
