Uganda Cranes settle in Annaba, conduct first training session

Uganda Cranes arrived in Annaba on Wednesday evening and have settled in well as kickoff for the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship draws closer.

With the tournament getting underway on Friday, players and the technical staff are making the final preparations. Equally for CAF, they are making final touches to have a memorable Championship.

On Thursday, the team had an orientation engagement with CAF officials covering aspects like matchday operations, doping, laws of the game, communication, marketing, safety and security among others.

Later in the day, the team also conducted its first training session in Annaba at Stade Chabbou.

Uganda, placed in Group B will kick start the tournament against Democratic Republic of Congo on Saturday at Stadium 19th May 1956.
