Member Relations: FUFA launches induction and orientation programme for Regional General Secretaries

FUFA has launched an induction and orientation programme for its newly appointed Regional General Secretaries.  The programme starts Tuesday, 14th July 2026 in Hoima, Kitara Region as part of FUFA’s drive to strengthen governance and engagement with Member Associations.

The delegation will be led by FUFA Executive Committee Member Deo Mutabazi, together with CEO Edgar Watson and to be coordinated by Member Relations Director Hajati Aisha Nalule.

The Regional General Secretaries will coordinate football activities and serve as the link between the FUFA Secretariat and football leadership at regional, provincial, and district levels.

The programme is designed to familiarise the new officials with FUFA’s governance framework, operational procedures and strategic priorities, while also engaging regional football leaders on the direction of football development in their areas.

It marks another step in FUFA’s efforts to build a more effective and responsive football administration structure, improve member relations, and strengthen engagement with internal stakeholders to support the growth of the game in Uganda.

Regional FA Chairpersons, Provincial Chairpersons, and District Chairpersons from all eight FUFA Regions will participate.

16th July: Northern Region –Lira City

17th July: Eastern Region FA – Mbale City- Mbale City Chambers 

18th July: North Eastern Region FA – Soroti City, Town View

20th July: Kampala Region FA – Kampala City-FUFA Stadium, Kadiba

20th July: Buganda Region FA – Kampala City- FUFA Stadium, Kadiba 

28th July: West Nile Region – Arua City

5th August: Western Region – Mbarara City
