Four clubs have earned promotion to the 2026/27 FUFA Big League following the conclusion of the Regional League Promotion Play-Off second-leg matches played on Saturday, 20th June 2026.
Buwambo United, Amus, Mutolere and Pakwach Young Stars all progressed after overcoming their respective opponents across the two-legged ties to seal places in Uganda’s second tier.
Buwambo United completed the job with a 4-2 victory over Black Star at YMCA Ground to advance with a 5-3 aggregate score.
Amus FC secured qualification after holding MYDA FC to a goalless draw at Kongunga Primary School Ground. Having won the first leg, Amus FC progressed 2-1 on aggregate.
Mutolere SC also advanced despite a 0-0 draw away to Booma FC at Kakeeka in Kakumiro. Their first-leg advantage proved decisive as they qualified with a 1-0 aggregate victory.
In Nebbi, Pakwach Young Stars overturned the first-leg deficit by defeating Pajule Lions 2-0 at Luo Grounds to progress 2-1 on aggregate.
The four clubs will now feature in the 2026/27 FUFA Big League season.
