CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup 2021: (July 18-31) – Bahir Dar, Ethiopia:
- Group A: Uganda, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
- Group B: Ethiopia, Burundi, Eritrea
- Group C: Djibouti, South Sudan, Kenya
Uganda has been pooled in group A in the CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup tournament slated to be hosted in the Ethiopian city of Bahir Dar.
Tanzania and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) complete the countries in group A.
Uganda opens up the tournament with a match against Democratic Republic of Congo on July 18th 2021 at 2 PM in the opening match.
The second game will be played against Tanzania on Sunday, July 25th 2021 at 4 PM.
Team Uganda is expected to depart for the tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
