The CAF A Coaching Diploma Course is underway at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru, as FUFA continues to invest in strengthening the capacity of coaches and improving football development structures in Uganda.
The 10-month programme, conducted across five modules scheduled for July 2026, September 2026, November 2026, March 2027 and June 2027, brings together 25 coaches seeking to advance their technical knowledge, leadership abilities and coaching competencies.
The course is being delivered by a team of experienced coach educators and football development experts, including FIFA High Performance Specialist Abdul Faisal Chibsah, FIFA Expert Simon Jennings, CAF Elite Coach Educator, FIFA Coach Educator and CAF Technical Study Group (TSG) Panel Member Abraham Mebratu, CAF/FIFA Coach Educator Douglas Bamweyana and FIFA/CAF Coach Educator Jackson Nyiima.





The programme combines theoretical sessions and practical learning experiences aimed at equipping participants with modern coaching methodologies, player development approaches and the technical skills required to operate effectively at the highest levels of the game.
