The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has considered the decision of the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee issued on 12 March 2026 in accordance with Article 70 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code, which provides that sanctions imposed by a member association may be extended to have worldwide effect across all FIFA member associations, confederations and FIFA itself.
Player MBAZIRA ASHRAF is hereby sanctioned with a worldwide ban from all football-related activities with effect from 12 March 2026 for his involvement in match fixing in the league fixture between Kitara FC vs Express FC in 2024.
