Matchday Two of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Elite League – Elizabeth Group produced exciting action across four venues on Saturday as URA Ladies FC maintained their perfect start to the campaign while She Kasese WFC registered their first victory of the season.
At Kawempe Muslim Ground, URA Ladies FC made it two wins in two matches with a convincing 3-1 victory over Buhimba Lady Saints FC. Belinda Hope Nabawanuka opened the scoring before Vanessa Namazzi doubled the lead from the penalty spot. Rashimy Nakagolo later added the third to seal the victory and earned the Woman of the Match award, while Maureen Atugonza scored the consolation goal for the visitors.

At Kiira Police Arena, She Kasese WFC bounced back from their Matchday One defeat to secure their first win of the season with a commanding 3-0 victory over Police Women FC. Peace Muhindo delivered a standout performance with a brace while Beatrice Kasime added the third goal. Muhindo’s impressive display saw her named Woman of the Match.
At Maya Playground, UPDF Women FC and Wakiso Hill WFC played out a goalless draw in a closely contested encounter. The match marked Wakiso Hill WFC’s first outing of the season after missing action on Matchday One. Both sides created opportunities but neither could find the breakthrough. Wakiso Hill’s Namata Teddy earned the Woman of the Match accolade for her composed performance.

Elsewhere at Prisons Parade Ground, FC Tooro Queens secured a narrow 1-0 victory over PISGBC Queens FC. Mary Kabaculezi scored the decisive goal and was later named Woman of the Match following her match-winning contribution.
