The countrywide tour that started on Thursday 15th May 2025 themed, ‘A Trophy with a Soul: Seeking Your Blessing for Uganda’s Football Daughters,’ aims to promote women’s football, foster unity, and encourage support for the sport’s development.
Led by FUFA 3rd Vice President, Hon. Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi and FUFA Deputy Executive Secretary Competitions, Rogers Mulindwa, the tour features former league winners sharing their experiences and the significance of the national women’s league trophy.
The players selected are; Catherine Nakiridde (UCU Lady Cardinals-2018/19), Lydia Nyandera (Lady Doves 2020), Aminah Nakato (She Corporate 2021/22), Zaina Namuleme now with Makerere University Women FC (formerly with Kampala2022/23) and Krusum Namutebi (Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC).
