Ugandan players Abroad: Isinde, Ikpeazu on target, Onyango keeps a clean sheet

Not a weekend that had much action for Ugandan players in the diaspora but of course those who turned out put up decent displays.

As usual Ronald Lusulire kept close tabs on them to find out who was in and who was out.

In the Ethiopian Premier League, defender Isaac Isinde netted in the 36th minute as his Hadiya Hossana side beat Adama Kenema 3-1. The goal was his second this season.

In England, Karl Ikpeazu Mubiru started and scored his first goal as his side Wycombe wanderers side lost 3-1 at home against Middlesbrough in the English championship.

Jayden Onen wasn’t in the match day squad as his Reading FC beat Huddersfield 2-1 on the road in the English Championship.

In the English League 1, Jordan Obita was introduced in the 75th minute as his side Oxford United beat Burton Albion 5-1.

In South Africa, custodian Denis Onyango kept a clean sheet as his Mamelodi Sundowns side beat Orlando Pirates 1-0.

In the Glad Africa Championship, Daniel Isaigi didn’t play due to work permit issues as his Jomo Cosmos side beat Steenberg United 2-0 on the road.

In Turkey, Farouk Miya wasn’t in the match day squad due to a muscle injury as his Konyaspor FC side lost 2-1 at Hatayspor.

In Germany, right back Herbert Bockhorn was introduced in the 83rd minute and grabbed an assist as his side Bochum side claimed a 2-1 win over Darmstadt in Bundesliga 2.

In the Israel Ligat HA’al, William Kizito Luwagga featured for 90 minutes as his Hapoel Kfar Saba drew 1-1 away at Hapoel Tel Aviv.

In the Scottish Premier League, Bevis Mugabi featured for 90 minutes as his Motherwell FC side lost 3-0 at Hamilton.

In Egypt, Derrick Nsibambi was an unused substitute as his Smouha SC drew 0-0 at home against Ceramica Cleopatra.

Khalid Aucho played full time as his Misr Le Makasa side beat El Ismaily 3-1 at home.

Abdu Lumala wasn’t in the match day squad as his Pyramids FC side beat El Entag El Harby 3-2 at home.

Emmanuel Okwi wasn’t in the match day squad as his Alexandria Al Ittihad side beat El Gaish 2-1 on the road.

In Kenya, Peter Lwasa started the game as his Kariobangi Sharks drew goalless at home against Ulinzi stars.

Yusuf Mukisa wasn’t in the match day squad as Nairobi City Stars lost 2-1 at Wazito.

William Wadri featured as his Bandari FC beat Western Stima 2-0.

Rogers Aloro and skipper Hashim Sempala featured as their Tusker FC drew 1-1 against Sofapaka.

In Burundi, Allan Brian Kiiza started while Mugisha Steven was an unused substitute as their Le Messanger Ngozi side lost 2-1 on the road at Aigle Noir.

In Sudan, Jamal Salim didn’t feature as his Al Hilal Omdurman side drew 2-2 at Al Ahly Merowe.

In the Morocco Coupe Du Trone, Patrick Kaddu didn’t feature as his Youssoufia Berrechid lost 2-0 at RS Berkane.
