FUFA CEO Watson launches book titled ‘Football My Life’
Many trades of jobs and lives give a true description of the current FUFA Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson.
From a small boy ushering in church, acting in a theatre, being a salesman, playing football for fun before captain both most successful football club in Uganda and National team- Uganda Cranes, Watson has a story to share in his book named ‘Football My Life.’
The book was launched on Friday 18th December 2020 during a colourful ceremony at Fairway hotel, Kampala.
The day’s event attended by high profile dignitaries saw performances from Tujali Performers and Hamonix group sway the guests with special songs all dedicated to the man of the moment- Watson.
The list of distinguished Guests had; Edgar Watson’s parents Mr and Mrs Ndawula, Country Director Giz James Macbeth Forbes, National Council of sports General Secretary Dr. Patrick Bernard Ogwel, FUFA 2nd VP Darius Mugoye who represented FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, USPA President Patrick Kanyomozi, celebrated journalist Mark Ssali who gave a key note speech, Denis Mbidde, SC.Villa CEO Shawn Mubiru, FUFA Secretariat members led by the three Deputy CEOs Humphrey Mandu, Sam Bakiika and Decola Kiiza.
