Uganda’s representatives in the CAF Champions League this season, KCC FC will play their away fixture against Sudan’s El Merrick on an artificial turf. The fixture is slated for 8th February, 2014 at the Khartoum Stadium. The news comes after Sudan Football Association replied their counterparts at Federation of Uganda football associations (FUFA) in regard to their request as to when the game would be played. FUFA has already communicated to KCC FC about the latest developments on the away game. KCC FC are defending champions of the FUFA Super League (FSL).

Meanwhile SC Victoria is the other Ugandan team that will play continental football this season. They won the 2012/2013 Uganda cup to earn the right to play in the CAF Confederations cup. They have a fixture against Don Bosco of Democratic Republic of Congo next month.
