FUFA is mourning the loss of Mr. Kiyimba David the father of Uganda Crested Cranes defender Nakitto Gladys who died at his home on Wednesday morning in Bweyogerere.
‘We have received the sad news of the loss of Nakitto’s father. These are tough times for her family and the entire women football fraternity’ said FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
‘The news comes on the back of another sad moment when football fans and players from Buliisa died on Lake Albert when their boat they were using as a means of transport capsized on Sunday’ added FUFA President.
‘We thank Mr. Kiyimba for grooming Nakitto into a very good player and committed servant on the national women football team’
Mr. Kiyimba will be laid to rest on Thursday at 4 pm in Bweyogerere.
