The FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo accompanied by the FUFA Technical Director Asuman Lubowa and the national teams’ coordinator Patrick Ntege visited the Uganda Hippos camp at Namboole Sports Hotel on Friday night ahead of their return leg tie against the Rwanda Junior Wasps on Stadium.

While addressing the players, Eng Magogo asked the players to appreciate the privileges and pride that comes along playing play for the national team .
Out of the millions of your age, you are only eighteen players here .It is such a great opportunity to don in the National teams jersey which is every footballers dream
He later cautioned the players to do away with the pride when they are playing against Rwandese side.

“Though we have beaten Rwanda at all age categories , do not treat this game as a walk over because the Rwandese need it too .You Should work for the win by giving your best first ,work for your selves and then for the privilege ‘’ warned the FUFA President .
He finally asked the players to work hard so that by the age of 20 they feature for big clubs in Uganda, abroad and the senior national team.

‘The national team is not about age where you are playing or coming from .It us about ability’ said Eng Magogo.
The first leg ended one goal apiece three weeks ago at the Kigali Regional stadium, Nyamirambo.

Edrisa Lubega scored the equalizer in the 34th minute for Uganda Hippos after Blaise Itangishaka had given Rwanda an early lead.
The return leg will be handled by referees from Kenya.
