WOMEN FOOTBALL: Kampala region league kicks off

Women football is spreading like bush fire in Uganda. Following the inaugural launch of the FUFA Women Elite League in March, two regional leagues have since rolled off too.

Buganda region and Kampala region have also got their leagues underway.

Here is pictorial on opening day of the Kampala Region football Association Women League.

Ghadafi Academy from Kawempe drew 1-1 with Princess Diana High School of Makindye. Namuleme Zaina scored for Ghadafi while Namugerwa Gloria concerted a penalty for  Princess Diana.
