Following our advert on 29th January, 2026, FUFA received applications from 48 secondary schools interested in the Schools of Excellence programme. These schools will meet with FUFA President, Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim, on Thursday 5th March, 2026, at FUFA Hotel, Kisaasi, at 11am.
The meeting aims to brief schools on the programme’s terms and conditions.
12 schools will be selected based on FUFA’s regional administrative structures: 4 schools ready to set up a school of excellence for girls’ football and 8 schools for boys’ football (one from each of the 8 FUFA regions).
The Schools of Excellence programme nurtures elite football talent while supporting academic education.
Selected schools will serve as regional hubs for talent development and player training.
