FUFA opens applications for educators’ pathway course

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations has opened the application process for pre-selection to the Educators’ Pathway Course as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen human resource capacity under the Technical Master Plan.

The initiative aims to identify and prepare qualified personnel to serve as Football Instructors across various domains of the game. The federation notes that building a strong pool of educators remains a fundamental pillar in ensuring the effective delivery of football development programmes nationwide.

Under the framework, Football Educators will serve as resource persons responsible for training Trainers through the Training of Trainers (ToT) model. Football Instructors will focus on delivering knowledge and skills to Coaches, Teachers, Trainers and Specialists under the Training of Students (ToS) structure. Coaches will handle both practical and theoretical instruction for players, while Teachers will focus on theoretical aspects and Trainers on practical skill development. Specialists will provide technical support services to enhance coaching delivery.

The federation further notes that some Football Educators may also take on roles as Instructors depending on their qualifications and experience.

The Instructors will be categorised across Administration, Refereeing, Coaching and Specialised fields, with pathways spanning international, national and regional levels under CAF, FIFA and the national association structures.

Interested candidates seeking to become Instructors in the respective fields have been invited to submit applications for the pre-qualification evaluation. The exercise will also serve as a re-evaluation platform for existing Instructors.

Applications must be submitted by 1700 hours on 15th April 2026 through
