Uganda pressed forward for at least an away goal but all efforts were in vain. Charles Ssebutinde, team captain Emmanuel Olinga and Alex Komakech all had missed what looked like life saving opportunities for the youngsters.
Matia Lule, the team’s head coach promises a highly spirited display in the return leg.
“Zambia is beatable and we shall polish on goal creation and conversion in trainning for a better return leg”, Lule told www.fufa.co.ug.
The team missed their skipper, Andrew Isiagi who is in the United States for his studies at Carlisle academy but he will be available for the return leg in Kampala.
