Ahead of the 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season, FUFA has supported all 18 UPL clubs with 540 official competition balls, Zakayo, worth UGX 60 million.
Each club received 30 balls to support their preparations and fixtures during the new season. The balls were officially handed over by FUFA Executive Committee Member Deo Mutabazi on behalf of the FUFA President and Federation.
‘It is a very wonderful and positive gesture from the President and the Federation to support its members, particularly these UPL clubs, in getting enough balls for their own fixtures,’ said Mutabazi.
‘All the 18 Uganda Premier League clubs have received these match balls for their own season preparations.’
The support is in line with FUFA’s Strategic Plan of providing clubs with sports equipment and strengthening their capacity to participate in competitions.
