The 2026 FUFA Super 8 returns to Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo this Thursday and Friday as clubs battle for places in the next stage of the competition following an exciting opening round of first-leg fixtures.
KCCA FC carry a slender 2-1 advantage into their return leg against BUL FC after goals from Charles Lwanga and Saidi Mayanja secured victory in the opening meeting. SC Villa will also look to finish the job after drawing 1-1 with Maroons FC, while Kitara FC head into the second leg against Police FC with a commanding 4-0 aggregate lead. NEC FC and Entebbe UPPC FC remain evenly poised after settling for a 1-1 draw in their first encounter.
The second-leg fixtures will determine the clubs that progress to Round Two, where teams are separated into winners’ and losers’ brackets based on the outcomes of the quarter-finals. Winners of SC Villa/Maroons FC and NEC FC/Entebbe UPPC FC will meet, while the winners of Kitara FC/Police FC and KCCA FC/BUL FC will face each other. The losing teams will also continue competing in separate Round Two fixtures.
Round Three, scheduled for 14th and 15th August, will conclude the tournament with classification matches for all participating clubs, including the final to determine the 2026 FUFA Super 8 winners.
All matches will be played at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo and broadcast live on FUFA TV.
