Kitara FC recorded the biggest win of the opening round as they defeated Police FC 4-0, while NEC FC and Entebbe UPPC FC played out a 1-1 draw on the second day of the 2026 FUFA Super 8 first-leg fixtures at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
Kitara FC took control of their encounter against Police FC in the first half. Living Kabon opened the scoring in the 28th minute after looping the ball into an empty net with the goalkeeper off his line. Four minutes later, Patrick Kaddu doubled the advantage with a similar finish to hand Kitara FC a comfortable lead at the break.
The Royals maintained their momentum after the restart, with Emmanuel Wasswa extending the lead in the 47th minute before Jimmy Kalema completed the scoring in the 62nd minute to seal a convincing 4-0 victory.
In the day’s second fixture, NEC FC broke the deadlock in the 34th minute through James Jarieko to take a 1-0 lead into half-time. Entebbe UPPC FC responded early in the second half when Julius Poloto converted a penalty in the 48th minute to restore parity.
Neither side could find a winner in the remaining minutes as the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
