The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed an international friendly match for the Uganda U-17 Women’s National Team (Teen Cranes) against Ethiopia as part of preparations for the 2026 CECAFA U-17 Women’s Championship.
The match will be played on Thursday, 11th June 2026 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A delegation of 31 players and officials led by FUFA Honorary Executive Committee Member John Chrizestom Kalibbala will depart on Tuesday, 9th June 2026 for Ethiopia before proceeding to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for the regional tournament.
Head Coach Sheryl Ulanda Botes has named a squad for the friendly match as part of the team’s final preparations for the CECAFA U-17 Women’s Championship scheduled from 13th to 23rd June 2026.
Uganda was drawn in Group B alongside South Sudan, Zanzibar and Djibouti.
