FUFA Tv, the official broadcast home of Ugandan football, has secured the exclusive free-to-air (FTA) media rights for Uganda’s FIFA World Cup 2026™ African Qualifiers. This landmark agreement, signed with Marketing & Media Solutions (MMS) and PC Plus Group Holding (PC Plus), reinforces FUFA Tv’s commitment to delivering top-tier football coverage to fans across Uganda.
The deal grants FUFA Tv exclusive rights to air all six remaining Uganda Cranes’ FIFA World Cup 2026™ qualifiers across its platforms, ensuring every Ugandan can experience the action live on FUFA Tv, the FUFA Media App, the online streaming platform. Additionally, 102.1 FUFA FM has secured the official audio rights to broadcast all six matches, allowing fans to follow the games wherever they are.
The Uganda Cranes resume their qualification campaign with a crucial match against Mozambique on 20 March in Cairo, before returning home to face Guinea on 25 March at Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
With FIFA expanding the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada, Africa now has up to 10 qualification spots. The winners of each of the nine groups will qualify automatically, while one additional team will enter the intercontinental playoffs in November 2025. With six matches remaining, Uganda needs a strong performance to position itself among the group’s top contenders.
