Wakiso Hills kept their hopes of securing promotion to the FUFA Women Super League after defeating Champions elect She Maroons on Tuesday.
In the game played at the Prisons Ground, Luzira, the visitors defied odds to claim a 1-0 win courtesy of Patricia Naiga’s goal.
The result meant She Maroons FC registered only their second loss with two games to the end of the campaign.

The Prison sentries used the game as a precursor for the FUFA Women’s Cup final where they will face Uganda Martyrs in Kumi district this Saturday.
On the other hand, the result was vital for Wakiso Hills in their pursuit to secure the second and remaining promotion slot.
The win took Wakiso Hills to second place on 34 points, one above FC Tooro Queens.
The aforementioned two teams have one game to play and either side will go into the final day with hopes still high.
Wakiso Hills will play their final game away to Isra Soccer Academy while FC Tooro Queens will host Goldstar High School on 17th June 2023.
