As per the Circular No.1125 under the subject; ‘CLOSED DOOR MATCH – AFCON 2021 QUALIFIER-UGANDA VS SOUTH SUDAN‘ addressed to the FUFA Executive Committee members, Delegates and stakeholders;
‘FUFA will host the 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier match no. 60 between Uganda Cranes and South Sudan National ‘A’ Men’s team at St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende on Thursday 12th November 2020, 16hours (E.A.T).
The match will be played under special arrangements as directed by the Government of Uganda, CAF Guidelines and FIFA recommendations on the fight against the spread of Covid-19.
Under the above guidelines, this will be a Closed Door Match and no fans will be allowed inside the stadium.
Based on the above henceforth, you are informed that no stakeholders will be allowed entrance to the Stadium unless accredited and permitted by the CAF Match Commissioner in compliance with the special CAF Safety and Security Regulations.
Stakeholders are advised not to travel to the Stadium but to support the Uganda Cranes through the FUFA Facebook page Live Coverage and local television (BBS TV) that FUFA and Airtel (U) limited have improvised for the stakeholders and fans to be able to watch the match within Uganda territory.
