Uganda’s scintilating performance at the ongoing CECAFA U-15 boys Challenge Cup in Asmara, Eritrea has left the organisers, teams and fans in awe following a return of many goals, none conceded after recording yet another high scoring win on Wednesday against Burundi in the semifinals.
The record reads: 5 matches played (4 in the group stage and semifinal), 19 goals scored, conceded none and now in the FINAL
These are glorious moments for the Uganda technical team and younsgters.
Uganda U-15 side started the CECAFA championship on a high by beating Ethiopia 3-0 in the opening group B game.

Winger Devis Ogwal netted a brace and Abasi Kyeyune scored the third goal for Uganda to collect maximum points.
In the second game, Travis Mutyaba scored twice as Uganda U-15 beat Tanzania 2-0.

The Northern bordering neighbors (South Sudan) fell to Uganda 5-0 with a hat-trick from Abas Kyeyune while Ogwal Davis and Travis Mutyaba scoring a goal each.

Uganda maintained the 100% winning show with qualification to the Semifinals following a 3-0 drabbing of Rwanda. Abas Kyeyune scored twice while Patrick Ouke netted the third to claim the victory

In the semis finals, Uganda defeated Burundi 6-0 with goals by Mutyaba Travis (Kawempe Royal College) scored twice, Ogwalo Devis (Buddo SS), Kyeyune Abbas (Kampala Junior Team), Ssekibengo Godfrey (St Henry’s College-Kitovu) and Mulema Vincent (Bishops SS-Mukono)

Abas Kyeyune remains the lead scorer for Uganda with 7 goals after 5 matches, Travis Mutyaba on 5 goals, Ogwal Davis has 4 while Ssekibengo Godfrey, Mulema Vincent and Patrick Ouke a goal each.
Uganda will play Kenya in the final who beat Rwanda on penalties 4-2 after a one-all draw on Wednesday.
