The Uganda Cranes delegation that departed the country for Abu Dhabi on Monday morning (4am) reached their final destination at 2:55 PM (East African Time, 3.55pm in Abu Dhabi).
All the players and officials on board reached safely before checking in at Park Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The group was also joined by Egyptian based striker Derrick Nsibambi while in Abu Dhabi.
They are expected to conduct their opening session on Tuesday morning (9:30 AM) and again in the afternoon (5:30 PM).
Team captain Denis Onyango expects great benefits from this training camp which will further prepare them for the 2019 TOTAL AFCON Championship in Egypt.
‘The players have trained well in Kampala for two weeks to boost the fitness levels. I believe the camp in Abu Dhabi will further help the team and polish us up. Also, the weather will be a great deal for acclimization just like the weather in Egypt‘ Dennis Onyango stated.

‘We started the camp a little bit much earlier in Kampala so that we can boost our fitness levels under the coaches. This has been intend helpful. I have the hope that by the time we end this training camp in Abu Dhabi, we shall be fully fit for the tournament in Egypt. At this juncture, I rally upon the fans to be behind us at all times. Uganda Cranes is in group A alongside hosts Egypt, Zimbabwe and neighbours Democratic Republic of Congo.
