The newly appointed Uganda U17 National Team Head coach Paa Samuel Kwesi Fabin conducted his first training session with the team at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru a few days after taking up this position.
He arrived for duty on Monday in Njeru where the team is camping ahead of the AFCON U-17 final tournament. The youngsters resumed their preparations on a high note with head coach introducing Osei-Owusu Derrick as a physical fitness coach.

The residential training commenced on Saturday March 23.

According to Kwesi, he will monitor the players while taking them through different training dynamics for the rest of the time he will be with them in camp until when they fly to South Africa for another residential camp.

The final tournament will kick off on 14th and end on 28th April 2019 in Tanzania. Uganda is in group A with the hosts, Nigeria and Angola
The top two teams in each ot the two groups in the tournament will qualify automatically for the U17 FIFA World Cup that will be held in Brazil.
