Uganda Cranes players held their final training session on Monday night (8pm in Egypt, 9pm in Uganda) with all eyes on Tuesday’s game in Alexandria at the Borg El Arab stadium-the same venue where Goalkeeper Denis Onyango lifted the CAF Champions League with South African side Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016.

‘I know the stadium very well. It will be my second time here but I have great memories on this ground. I hope we can enjoy more great memories as Uganda Cranes on Tuesday’ said Onyango.

Onyango attended the pre-match press conference with Head coach Moses Basena.

The players held a tactical session that lasted one hour before they returned to their base at Radisson Blu Hotel.

‘We are not thinking about Egypt. We need to plan for our game. Let each one of us in this group cater for their interests’ said Basena during the press conference.
