The 26th FUFA Executive Committee convened on Saturday 26th March 2022 at FUFA House in Mengo to deliberate on football matters. Various Committees of FUFA made presentations of:

1-GOVERNANCE
The 98th FUFA Ordinary General Assembly to be hosted by Northern Region Football Association in Gulu City on Saturday 15th October 2022

3- FINANCE
- Finance Committee presented the Statutory Financial Audits for FY 2021 as prepared by the Finance Department
- The External Auditor (KAL Associates) gave an independent unqualified opinion and that FUFA is a going concern for at least the next 12 months
- The FUFA Executive approved the Statutory Financial Audits for FY 2021 for further approval by the FUFA General Assembly and publishing thereafter
4-LEGAL
- The FUFA Executive passed a Policy of Reward and Protection of whistle blowers during investigations of cases of match fixing.
- 1m UGX (One Million Uganda Shillings) will be paid to any person who provides information that is proven to be correct and useful in determination of cases of match fixing
- Competitions Director, Hajati Aisha Nalule was named FUFA’s Data Protection Officer as a mandatory requirement by the Data Protection Act. Nalule maintains her position as the FUFA Competitions Director
- Elections for the vacant positions amongst the Delegates be filled by 30th June 2022
5- FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT
- Approved the following schools for the FUFA Schools of Excellence (SoE) Programme;
- Kibuli SS Kampala Region
- St Henry’s College Kitovu Buganda Region
- Jinja SSS Eastern Region
- Mbarara High School, Western Region
- St Joseph’s College Layibi Northern Region
- Mvara High School West Nile Region
- Teso College Aloet North East Region
- Kabalega High School Kitara Region
- Appointed 3-man panel, on behalf of the Executive Committee, to review the FUFA Player Development Curriculum and consequently approve by 30th June 2022. The panel is composed of;

- Professional Coaching License
- FUFA will issue Professional Coaching Licenses that will last three (3) years effective 2022/23 Season.
- There shall be a Refresher Course before issuance of the Professional Coaching Licenses for the 2022/23 Season. FUFA may renew the Professional Coaching Licenses after 3 years upon undergoing a refresher course
- Only Coaches holding FUFA Professional Coaching Licenses shall be issued with annual bench permits as Head Coaches for the FUFA Professional Leagues
- With effect from the 2023/2024 season, Head coaches of the Uganda Premier League clubs will be CAF A License holders while assistants CAF B License holders.

- Commencement and Logo for Celebration of 100 years of FUFA
8-COMPETITIONS, REFEREEING AND LICENSING
- In respect to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic the following temporary provisions on player Licensing were approved for the rest of the 2021/22 season: –
- If a club has not used up its quota and are willing to register a player, they are allowed.
- Players who are not registered by their clubs and hence are not playing are eligible to be registered even for lower division clubs
- Players whose contracts have expired and want to move to another club are eligible to be registered
- Players who have mismatching details in their documents (Passport and National ID) are eligible to be registered. The NIRA Bio-data shall be the acceptable data
- Players who are registered refugees are eligible to be registered using their Government of Uganda Registration Documents
- These provisions shall not be applicable for the 2022/23 Season

- On examination of the records at FUFA, the owners of Busoga United FC were established and have never been changed as provided for in the rules;
