Wakiso Giants and Mbale Heroes Football Clubs progressed to the 48th edition Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16.
Mbale Heroes overcame Kampala regional NEC 1-0 at the Sansiro playground in Mbale.
James Mukebeezi scored for Mbale Heroes in the 25th minute after they had missed a penalty in the 5th minute through Fahad Nsamba.

Meanwhile, Wakiso Giants humiliated Kyetume 5-2 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in Wakiso.
Samuel Ssenyonjo (on loan from KCCA) scored a hat-trick. Captain Hassan Ssenyonjo and Tom Masiko scored Wakiso Giants’ two other goals.
Ezra Bidda had the two consolation goals for Kyetume, including a penalty.
Elsewhere, Iganga Young overcame Tepa 4-3 in post match penalties after normal time ended goal-less.
The contest between Luweero United and Ndejje University ended one-goal apiece after 90 minutes.
Ndejje University progressed 4-2 in post match penalties.
