Uganda Cranes Vs Mali (Monday, 6th September 2021) – At St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende (4 PM)
Following the goal-less draw away from home against Kenya Harambee Stars, Uganda Cranes delegation safely returned home aboard Ethiopian Airlines on Friday.
The team returned to camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisaasi, Kampala where they joined the three players who had been earlier released after the international build up with Ethiopia.
Shafik Kuchi Kagimu, Martin Kizza and Kenneth Semakula are all with the team in the camp.
At Entebbe International Airport, the team was warmly received by the second vice president Darius Mugoye and the FUFA Communications director Ahmed Hussein Marsha.


‘When we take on Mali, we need an improved performance and result from the Kenya game. It is a motivation from the game we played on Thursday’ Micho told the media at Entebbe International Airport.
FUFA communications director urged the fans to keep calm as the game will be also be behind closed doors because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
There is virtually no time to rest as the training resumes on Saturday with a recovery session in the morning at the hotel and training at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende later in the afternoon (4 PM).
Meanwhile, the Mali delegation arrives at Entebbe International Airport on Saturday evening (6 PM) aboard a chartered flight and will be accommodated at Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
