The FUFA Drum 2022
Matchday Two, First Leg
Saturday Results
Bunyoro 0-0 Acholi
Tooro 1-0 Rwenzori
FUFA Drum reigning Champions Acholi began their quest to retain the coveted title on Saturday away to Bunyoro.
In the game played at Masindi Stadium, the two teams played out to a goalless draw.

Both Bunyoro and Acholi opted for a cautious approach in the opening stages. The game thus offered few scoring opportunities for either side.
George Ssekaaba and Brian Aheebwa came close to opening the scores for Bunyoro in the first half but goalkeeper Derrick Ochan on both occasions was well stationed to save.
On the other, Brian Mato went through on goal but could not put the ball beyond goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima.
The return leg comes next Saturday at Pece Stadium, Gulu where the winner on aggregate will progress to the group phase.
In the other game played on Saturday, Tooro edged neighbours Rwenzori 1-0 courtesy of David Opio’s goal.
