Stanbic Uganda Cup: Six O’Clock FC seal final Round of 16 slot, Draw Date Set | 52nd Edition

The Round of 32 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup concluded on Wednesday with Six O’Clock FC edging Kataka FC 1-0 to claim the final place in the Round of 16. The 3rd Division side from Western Region produced a disciplined performance to overcome Kataka FC of the FUFA Big League, sealing progression in a tightly contested encounter and confirming their place among the last sixteen.

Nine clubs from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League progressed, but the presence of teams from the FUFA Big League and regional divisions in the next round underlines the depth and competitiveness of the country’s domestic football pyramid.

The teams that have progressed to the Round of 16 are drawn from multiple levels of Ugandan football.

Clubs from the StarTimes Uganda Premier League are KCCA FC, Kitara FC, Vipers SC, Express FC, URA FC, SC Villa, Maroons FC, NEC FC and Lugazi FC.

From the FUFA Big League are Onduparaka FC, Iganga United FC and Bunyaruguru United FC.

From the lower divisions are Red Devo FC (3rd Division, Northern Region – Amolatar District), Happy Boys FC Kagaba (4th Division, Buganda Region – Kassanda District), Tapo United FC (3rd Division, North East Region – Ngora District) and Six O’Clock FC (3rd Division, Western Region – Bushenyi District).

The draw for the Round of 16 will be conducted on Thursday, 5th March 2026 and will be broadcast live on FUFA Tv starting at 10AM.
