Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 draw conducted on FUFA Tv | 52nd Edition

The draw for the Round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup 52nd edition was conducted today live on FUFA TV, officially setting the stage for the knockout phase of Uganda’s flagship domestic cup competition.

Phillip Obwin, a former Cup winner with Express FC, SC Villa and URA FC, was the draw assistant at the event.

The Round of 32 matches will be played between 21st and 28th February 2026, bringing together clubs from the Uganda Premier League, FUFA Big League and lower divisions in a nationwide contest for cup glory.

Regional representation at the Round of 32

The draw features teams from across the country, highlighting the inclusive nature and national footprint of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Kampala leads representation with nine teams, namely KCCA FC, SC Villa, Police FC, Maroons FC, NEC FC, Express FC, URA FC, Melody Star FC and Football Classroom.

Buganda follows with six teams, represented by Vipers SC (Wakiso), Entebbe UPPC FC (Wakiso), UPDF FC (Luweero), Lugazi FC (Buikwe), Ntugasaze FC (Mityana) and Happy Boys FC (Kassanda).

Western Uganda contributes five teams: Mbarara City FC (Mbarara), Kigezi HomeBoyz FC (Kabale), Kaaro Karungi FC (Ntungamo), Mutolere SC (Kisoro) and Six O’clock FC (Bushenyi).

Eastern Uganda is represented by four teams, namely BUL FC (Jinja), Kataka FC (Mbale), Iganga United (Iganga) and Amus College FC (Mbale).

Northern Uganda has three teams in Blacks Power FC (Lira), Pajule Lions FC (Pader) and Red Devo FC (Amolatar).

Kitara accounts for two teams: Kitara FC (Hoima) and Bunyaruguru FC (Kasese).

North Eastern Uganda also contributes two teams through Tapoh FC (Ngora) and Kumi United (Kumi), while West Nile is represented by Onduparaka FC from Arua.
