Round of 64: Kigezi Home Boyz 0-1 Vipers
Round of 32: UPDF 1-0 Impala Hill
The current holders of the Stanbic Uganda Cup trophy Vipers Sports Club kick-started their title defence on a positive note, winning 1-0 over Kigezi Home Boyz during the round of 32 at the Kabale Municipal Stadium on Monday, 21st February 2022.
Yunus Junior Sentamu scored the day’s only goal coming in the 83rd minute.
Vipers will now face Kalongo United at the round of 32.
On the same day, UPDF overcame Impala Hill 1-0 with Yassin Sabir scoring the goal on the stroke of full-time during the round of 32 contest.
UPDF thus became the first club to qualify to the round of 16.
Action continues in the round of 32 on Tuesday, 22nd February 2022.
