With new changes in the playing format, expectations are high and competition is expected to be tight as all the 16 provinces will be looking at the top prize.
FUFA Executive Member in charge of marketing and communications Rogers Byamukama, who is also the chairman organizing committee FUFA Drum indicated that everything is set for the kickoff of the second edition.

Byamukama confirmed that all the prize money (100 million shillings) has been paid as promised.
I want to first thank FUFA, the 16 provinces, fans and all the stakeholders for a successfully organized maiden edition. The second edition gets underway this weekend and I want to confirm that we are set. In the review meeting, the FUFA President promised that prize money will be paid before the kickoff of the second edition. I want to confirm that the money was wired to the different winners
Byamukama emphasized that the new playing format will see the top two teams in each of the four groups assemble at one venue from where the champion will be determined.
There is a slight change this season. Unlike the previous edition where we played on home and away basis up to the final, this time round, we shall a different set up after the group stage. The top two teams in each group will converge in one venue and play to determine the champion
Transfer of players from one province to another will not be allowed and Byamukama warned provinces to be aware of this while summoning squads.
‘A player who featured for one province last season is not allowed to transfer to another. We therefore warn coaches to avoid this’ added Byamukama.
The chairman organizing committee also indicated that the man of the match cash prize (Ushs 100,000/=) and the plaque will be maintained this season.
FUFA will as well maintain the transport, accommodation and feeding financial assistance rendered towards the provinces.
