Kampala Junior Team win 2021/22 Futsal Super League

Kampala Junior Team over the weekend clinched the 2021/22 Futsal Super League.

To emerge Champions, KJT had to win their final two games of the season on Saturday at the Old Kampala Arena.

Despite having the same number of points(30) with second-placed Park FC (30), KJT had a better head to head advantage over their rivals.

On the final day of the season, the Mohammad Sembatya coached side defeated Kisenyi FC (4-0) and Aidenal School of Soccer and Art (5-2) to lift their first Futsal Super League trophy.

Park also won their games ( 9-0 against ASKA and 10-0 against Kabowa Dream) but narrowly failed to defend the title they won in 2021.

FUFA Executive Committee Member in charge of Marketing, TV & Sponsorships Rogers Byamukama Araali, who was in company of FAU President Hamza Jjunju handed the coveted trophy to the Mengo based side.

KJT’s Abasi Kyeyune was named the 2021/22 Futsal Super League Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performance during his side’s incredible trophy triumph.
