Eastern Region Football Association General Assembly
Held on 30th September 2018
Ahead of the 94th FUFA Ordinary General Assembly in Kabale, one of the 8 Member Assoctions of FUFA- Eastern Region Football Associations held its Assembly on 30th September 2018 at Executive Hotel in Bugiri.
The Regional Assembly was chaired by the Association’s Chairperson Issa Musiwa, together with the Executive Committee members Charles Namakola (Busia), Hussein Mwangu (Tororo), Isaac Mpaanso (Buyende), Yusuf Twala (Kapchorwa), Andrew Wanyama (Namayongo), Zaituni Mutesi (Bugiri), Abdullah Kayiwa (Mbale) among other members.

In his address to the Delegates, Musiwa appealed to FUFA to release funds a bit early to enable the region execute their activities accordingly.
‘I am thrilled that we realised almost 95% of the quorum for this Assembly. However, we have had constant challenges with financial hardships thus affect early planning for our projects’ said Issa Musiwa.

FUFA was ably represented by Executive Committee Member Issa Magoola Kakaire who delivered the FUFA President’s message .
‘I am here in various capacities but allow me on behalf of FUFA President to convey his sincere message of great thanks and appreciation towards the development of the game of football’ noted Issa Magoola.
‘The President is way in Cairo for official CAF duties. He wants to empower all the 8 regions to run their activities independently, allow CEO submit reports of activities smoothly’ added Magoola.

Former FUFA Excom member Sam Lwere and FUFA Big League Delegate Faisal Muhammed observed and advised on the progress of the assembly wherever it was deemed necessary.
