She Corporate continued to show their intentions of clinching this season’s FUFA Women Super League after registering yet another win.
The Sharks who are chasing their maiden league title needed to dig deep to overcome a resilient FC Tooro Queens side on Sunday in Nakawa at MUBS Arena courtesy of Phiona Nabbumba’s goal.
The decisive moment came in the 43rd minute when the midfielder tucked the ball beyond onrushing goalkeeper Gloria Namakula.
Victory meant, She Corporate remained top of the log on 20 points with one game to play in the first round. They will face Kampala Queens on Saturday, 2nd April at IUIU, Kabojja in the top of the table clash.

Kampala Queens themselves earned maximum points off Olila High School WFC at Soroti Stadium on Sunday.
Ever reliable Margaret Kunihira was once again to the rescue of the Football Queens scoring the solitary goal of the game which meant they moved back to second place on 15 points.

This was the fifth goal for Kunihira at Kampala Queens this season and she is now the joint top scorer alongside Olila’s Grace Aluka.

Kawempe Muslim bounced back to winning ways with a narrow 1-0 away victory over defending champions Lady Doves FC at Katusabe Stadium in Masindi.
Teenage striker Aziiza Amuleni Amoding scored for Kawempe Muslim to help them move to 5th position with 10 points from 6 games.

In Luzira, Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC piled more pressure on off colour She Maroons FC, winning 2-1.
The Kiddawalime Girls needed to come from a goal down to nick all three points. She Maroons had taken the lead through skipper Millicent Mwanzi but Uganda Martyrs rallied back through Latifa Nakasi and second half substitute Brenda Munyana.

Matchday 8 action will come to a climax on Monday with UCU Lady Cardinals hosting bottom placed Rines SS WFC in Mukono.
The University side can return to second place if they pick maximum points off visiting Rines SS WFC.
