Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC vs UCU Lady Cardinals FC -4PM
Kampala Queens FC vs Uganda Martyrs WFC- IUIU Grounds, Kabojja -4PM
Matchday Seven of the FUFA Women Super League started on a low temple with the two games played over the weekend ending in barren stalemates.
Table leaders She Corporate FC failed to negotiate past She Maroons FC while Kampala Queens FC could only afford a point off defending Champions Lady Doves.
On Saturday, She Corporate FC who were overwhelming favourites were frustrated at home by a resilient She Maroons side.
The Prison Sentries despite being on the receiving end for the larger part of the game, withered through to earn a point.
The result meant She Corporate remained top of the table on 17 points while She Maroons on the other hand moved to 5 points but remain second from bottom.
In the game played on Sunday, Lady Doves continued their resuscitation by picking a point off Kampala Queens at IUIU Grounds, Kabojja.
The Masindi based outfit who had a sloppy start to the season have shown signs of improvement judging from the last two games that also included defeating FC Tooro Queens last weekend for their first win this season.
Action will continue on Wednesday with two games on card. Kampala Queens will be hoping to close the gap on leaders She Corporate when they host Uganda Martyrs WFC.Victory will take Kampala Queens to 14 points, three behind She Corporate FC.
Uganda Martyrs WFC have been out of action for some time given the number of players that have been part of the Uganda U17 Women’s National Team.
The target therefore will be to pick points from the games in hand inorder to move up the log.
The other game on Wednesday will see wounded UCU Lady Cardinals making a trip to Kawempe to face Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.
UCU Lady Cardinals FC have lost the last two games and the University side will hope to make an arrest on the poor run.
They face a Kawempe Muslim outfit who equally have been at sixes and sevens, losing their previous outing to bottom placed Rines SS WFC.
