Action in the FUFA Women Super League returns this weekend with Matchday two games spread across Saturday and Sunday.

With thrilling action witnessed in the opening Matchday, the five games coming this weekend promise to offer even better.

Saturday will have two games on card with defending Champions Lady Doves taking on wounded Uganda Martyrs WFC while UCU Lady Cardinals FC in Mukono will entertain new comers She Maroons FC.

Lady Doves were held to a goalless draw at home by new comers She Maroons and the ultimate target as they face Uganda Martyrs will be to pick maximum points.

Uganda Martyrs on the other hand suffered a 2-0 loss to She Corporate and coach Rogers Nkugwa will be expecting reaction from his charges in Masindi.

In Mukono, UCU Lady Cardinals will be in bouyant mood going into Saturday’s fixture given the fact they secured a hard fought 1-0 away in Soroti last week.

Hasifa Nassuna scored the lone goal against Olila last week.

However, in She Maroons, they face a potential banana skin. The new comers are a no -push and if a point off Lady Doves from last weekend is anything to go by, UCU Lady Cardinals will need to dig deep.

The other games will come on Sunday with Olila High School hosting Rines WFC at Soroti Stadium.

Kampala Queens make the long trip to Fort Portal City hoping to make quick amends following their disappointing start to the season.

Kampala Queens lost to Kawempe Muslim on Matchday One.

The Capital City Queens succumbed to a 2-0 home loss to Kawempe Muslim and coach Hamza Lutalo who was in charge of his first game promised to rectify the mistakes made.

“We made a couple of errors against Kawempe Muslim but we have worked on them prior to Sunday’s game. The target is definitely to pick maximum points and keep improving in every game.” He said.

Tooro Queens on the other hand picked a point on the road against Rines WFC and will be happy to welcome back defender Sumaya Komuntale to the team after her exploits with the Uganda U20 Women’s National Team.

She Corporate and Kawempe Muslim Ladies who won their opening fixtures with an identical score of 2-0 face off in Nakawa in arguably the biggest game of the weekend.
