FUFA Women Super League
Uganda Martyrs High School 0-1 Kampala Queens
Kampala Queens earned their first win at the 2020/21 FUFA Women Super League after overcoming Uganda Martyrs on Wednesday.
A late goal from midfielder Rukia Namubiru guided Kampala Queens to victory thus condemning Uganda Martyrs to their first loss.
Namubiru picked the ball outside the area in the 88th minute and looped the ball into the top left corner to give her team a sigh of relief.
Uganda Martyrs will have themselves to blame after missing several goal scoring chances.Catherine Nagadya, Latifa Nakasi and Spencer Nakacwa all came close to scoring but lacked the calmness in front of goal.

Nagadya went through on goal in the 54th minute but missed the target with goalkeeper Joan Namusisi already beaten.
She also had another attempt in acute angle but her effort went a few inches off target.

With the game destined for the end, Namubiru scored in the 88th minute after capitalizing on a defense lapse by Uganda Martyrs.
Deep into stoppage time, Spencer Nakacwa with an empty net failed to tap home for Uganda Martyrs to at least savage a point.
Kampala Queens now move to three points while Uganda Martyrs drop to second place with six points, same as Kawempe Muslim.
